the ice cream from the picture you saw, is from an ice cream parlor called scoops in los angeles. it’s not a vegan establishment, but they always have at least three vegan flavors!

my favorite local ice cream, however, is kind kreme. they are totally vegan, except for honey which comes from the founder’s father-in-law who is an organic beekeeper. in fact, i am drinking a banana and almond butter shake from there right now!

if you’re not in the los angeles area, my favorite store-bought vegan ice cream is luna & larry’s coconut bliss! you can usually find it at whole foods. 

and if you can’t get to whole foods, i’ve found soy dream/almond dream/rice dream products in the organic or natural section of regular grocery stores.

Last Friday- vegan ice cream date at Scoops! Sungmi and I both got vanilla oreo… yum!

Vegan soft serve! Delicious chocolate and vanilla swirl with salted caramel topping from Kind Kreme. So lucky to live so close to the best vegan ice cream ever!
